Astro pug

The unclear narrative of the game revolves around its characters. The pug is a pug, and Astro Pug has something to do with space. We might be meeting a space dog, an outer space pug, in the course of this game. Review Astro Pug and its features with us. You may also opt to review Astro Cat, from the same developer. It is more or less the same game.

About Astro pug slot

In Astro Pug, Lightning Box has given the old classic Chinese slot theme a real refresh. The developer of Slottens has also given us a lot of classic concepts. The result is a playful, lightly humorous, and friendly slot that feels very inviting.

A big story unfolds on the game screen. When the player enters the game, a total of eight columns greet them. They are framed by classic Chinese roofs, and in the background is a nature scene straight from an ancient Chinese landscape painting. The idea is probably that a spacefaring pug has landed at a preposterously upscale ancient Chinese temple.

In the game, everything is extremely vibrant, and it should also be pointed out that there are a plethora of beautiful animations. These animations fall mostly into the cute and sometimes absurd category. For instance, when the puny pug has just won something, its victory is announced by an animated mouth-lick, as if to say, “Yum! I just won!”

Even the soundscape is of the cheerful sort. Lightning Box has taken elements of traditional Chinese music and allied it with a range of standard slot sounds (consider, if you will, the clink of a Vegas slot machine).

To play Astro Pug is not an art form in and of itself. One need only select one's total wager when one is ready to spin. But the manner in which one achieves victory, and the way in which the special features are triggered, is really a different story altogether. Read on for all the particulars, or proceed to, say, Betsafe to spin right this moment.

Stakes and winnings

You have 1,296 ways to win in Astro Pug, and they're all across the eight columns. The reels in positions 1, 2, and 4, 5 are all three positions high, while the wheel in the middle is what makes this game so special. There are 16 (4×4) individual positions in that wheel, and each one of them can spin and result in something wild happening. This is what Lightning Box Games calls Reelfecta.

You place a wager of 50 coins across all 1,296 winning ways. You can set your coin value at 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, 2.50, or 5.00. According to this setup, the minimum total bet you can place is 5.00, and the maximum total bet you can place is 2,500.00.

After you've chosen your wager, simply set the reels in motion. You will, of course, want to hope, with all your might, that you will see three or more matching symbols appear in a row. Achieving this often makes use of the Reelfecta function. In this case, it play n on̈ it didn't matter if p it's 4×4 positions. “the wheel ” as at least one third symbol lands. It can land on the far right as well as directly adjacent to the two wheels on the left.

Astro Pug can give you a maximum profit of 150,000 coins. We will frankly state that we are at a loss to understand what the recipe for such a huge win looks like. Even so, there is little doubt that the wild symbol is the one that pays out the biggest wins.

Astro Pug's RTP is 95.73%. In general, we think modern slots should have a payback of over 96% to be worth our money, but Astr Moderna Pug is such an innovative game that we do not see any reason not to make an exception in this case. The risk in the game is averaged with fairly regular winnings

Symbols

The game's catalog of special symbols has a scatter and a wild. The scatter symbol shows Chinese characters set against a full moon. The wild symbol shows the pug from outer space.

On the reels is a high win symbol showing a boy carrying a flower of gold. The medium win symbols are a jade monkey, a pink koi, a stuffed animal, and a money sack. The low win symbols are A, K, Q, J, and 9. What about 10? It doesn't actually exist!

Game features

For those accustomed to traditional five-reel machines, Astro Pug might appear thoroughly messed up. Not that it really matters, because, among other things, the Reelfecta concept means that anything special about a game of Astro Pug is bound to stand out, and there are a couple of features in this game that are definitely better than average.

Wilds

The Pug is the wild. It acts as a stand-in for all other symbols except the scatter symbol. In the base game, wilds show up only on reels 2, 3, and 4. In the free spins round, they appear only on reels 2 and 4.

Multiplying wilds

Certain wilds that appear on Reel 2 do not display the pug but show either a TV or three to four dog legs. The dog legs define the multiplier that will apply to any winnings.

Free spins

You win free spins if you get five or more scatters in the outer frame of the wheel in the middle. This is where the Reelfecta wheel really shows its specialties.

At the outset, you will be granted three to twelve spins. Each of the spins will result in either a bomb or an extra wild appearing in the frame. The action begins in the upper left corner, and then bomb/wild action continues around the frame in a clockwise direction.

An extra wild provides precisely one wild (which is a sticky one!) and one additional free spin. The free spins continue spinning until they hit a bomb.

Mega Spin

If you manage to get all but four of the 16 positions in the Reelfecta wheel covered by wilds, you win one Mega Spin. The Reelfecta wheel has four wild-covered positions in the middle, so if you line up wilds everywhere but in the four positions that flank the middle of the wheel, well, you're guaranteed to win with this configuration on a gigantic number of pay routes!

Summary

Astro Pug is an ideal slot for players who are looking for a new challenge when it comes to spinning the reels. Actually, it is almost a challenge to even comprehend the unique features and functions! Yet, once you start giving the Reelfecta wheel a spin, you're sure to become well-acquainted with the slot's special features.

Because of them, there are 1296 ways to win making it quite easy to score wins in the base game. However, the true strength of the game lies in the free spins round. This bonus is not only quite special, it can also be extremely profitable. As it should be, it is not, however, very easy to activate.
