Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne game review

So far, Netent has launched rock games based on several rock bands and solo artists, including Jimi Hendrix and Guns N Roses This type of game attracts slot fans as well as rock fanatics and is therefore ideal for both purposes because the music in games from NetEnt Rocks comes from the artists themselves. The graphics often go hand in hand with both bonus features and the sounds of this kind of slot, something that makes us excited about the slot Ozzy Osbourne can offer. Read on in our review and find out more about the game!

About The Ozzy Osbourne Slot Machine

Few have missed that Ozzy Osbourne is a living legend, with his millions of sold albums as a solo artist after being the frontman of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It is not the first time that he has been highlighted in the casino world either. The rock star, also known as the Prince of Darkness, previously became an ambassador and one of several faces for the online casino Metal Casino which was launched in 2017.

Just like the online casino he represents, the slot machine from NetEnt breathes Ozzy and rock'n'roll in more ways than graphic. It's not the first time Netent has relied on a rock legend as the basis for a new slot, so we were counting on hearing Ozzy's music playing in the game itself from the start. In addition to cool music and graphics, we can count on free spins and multipliers of up to x12

Bets & Winnings

Netent is good at letting the player decide for themselves how much to play for, therefore there are both bet levels and coin value to set before you start spinning. If you want to play with as little total bet as possible, you set the game level to 1 and the coin value to 0.01 – then you play with a total bet of 10 coins per game round.

To play with the highest possible bet, click up the level to 5 and the coin value to 0.50 and then play with 100 coins per spin.

Functions

There is no doubt that the game has a very unique character, nor is it any surprise that the Ozzy Osbourne slot machine has received a lot of bonus features. Exactly how they work and are activated, we go through here!

Free spins

What slot player doesn't appreciate a bonus round of Free Spins? This is a favorite feature included even in Ozzy's slot machine. These free spins are activated in a rather classic way by 3 or more scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3 or 5 in the regular game round of the game.

Re-spins

A variation of the free spins bonus feature is the re-spin which works pretty much the same but only 1 extra spin is activated. This happens when 3 or more Scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3 or 5 at any point in the game's regular game rounds.

Bonus Bet

If you activate the bonus round “Bonus Bet”, the game rounds are played with 40 coins per spin. Multiple free spins can be activated, and the multipliers in the free spins mode change from x2 to x3, x5 and x7.

Symbol Charge Up

The fourth feature of Ozzy Osbourne's slot machine is called Symbol Charge up and involves being rewarded with one or more perks. This happens before Re-Spins and free spins are activated. Here the symbol is defined by the’ symbol Spinner ' and then one of the following bonus features is added to the selected symbol: coin win, Wild symbol, multiplier or Upgrade.

Symbols

The symbols in the Ozzy Osbourne slot machine are divided into 2 different categories, high paying and lower paying symbols. Depending on how you match these in winning combinations on the reels, there will be a bigger or smaller win.

The high paying symbols are all made up of Ozzy Osbourne himself and are all pretty much stronger than the lower paying symbols in the game. As the picture below shows, these symbols generate between 250 – 1,000 coins when you combine 5 of the symbols.

The lower paying symbols consist of the classic symbols on card suites that show different values. In this slot, however, they have received a specific boost and at the same time symbolize symbols that are associated directly with the metal world and Ozzy himself. The heart with the Raven is worth the most, followed by ruter with the skull, the green clover Cross and finally the Blue spader rose.

Summary

Since we learned about the new launch from Netent, we have been excited to see what the Ozzy Osbourne slot machine can offer. And we were far from disappointed! The graphics are not to be complained about and the same goes for the huge amount that must have been spent to get to the various bonus features. Given that you have so much freedom in terms of the bet you play with, the slot machine works for the vast majority of types of players. However, the volatility of the winnings in Ozzy Osbourne is quite high, so if you get impatient to spin a slot for a while before it gives a profit, it may be a better tip to try another video slot. If you want to try a slot machine with a bit of a similar itch, we would like to recommend Hells Grannies from Microgaming.
