About the slot machine
Arcade Bomb is one of the earlier game titles from Red Tiger Games, a perfect mix of old and new. The game's symbols all consist of classic slot machine symbols, with the 7 being the most valuable and worth the most, and the Cherry being the least valuable and worth the least. Then there are even more classic slot machine symbols like the Bell, the BAR symbol, and even more fruit symbols like the Melon, Strawberry, Orange, and Lemon. These are the game's medium-value symbols.
The mechanics of Arcade Bomb are fairly standard. It has 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 paylines. And that's about where the standard casino slot ends. Beyond the game symbols, there are time bombs that stick around even when the reels are spinning. After all the spinning, the time bombs go off, and the big wins happen when the symbols nearby the bombs get caught in the blast.
Functions
The renewed retro slot from Red Tiger Gaming does not contain many bonus features. Most of us are used to symbols that, when spun into a certain arrangement, offer a chance to free spins. Other times, Wilds and other Joker features shine, as they supposedly do, with their absence. Skålt, or less is more. But we really think it fits with a new video slot that should reflect more traditional slots. However, there are a couple of subtleties that undoubtedly help to increase the chances of winning. Because how common is it with bombs that not only fall into the slot game and stay there but generate profit by exploding?
Reel Bombs
In a flash, the game's attention-grabbers—the four distinct bombs—are dropped. The bombs, available in four colors (green, pink, blue, and yellow), are set apart by their individual explosion patterns. Patterns that cover positions on the playfield and guarantee profits. Any position that lies within a pattern will end up as one, and only one, particular random symbol after the detonation. Even better, bombs that land in the same (or overlapping) patterns will also explode simultaneously.
These explosives are secured in place on the reels and are set to detonate with each turn of the reels. While an explosive is in the countdown phase, additional explosives can be placed on the reels and set to tick off immediately.
Each bomb has its own color and explosion pattern. In a way, they are also worth a lot. Namely, two of the bombs scatter to two nearby positions. The other two bombs scatter to four positions. The yellow and blue bomb are the ones that only spread to two other positions, the yellow vertically and the blue horizontally. The bombs that are dressed in green or purple, on the other hand, radiate either as a cross or a y in diagonal directions. These thus affect more nearby symbols that explode to generate a shyer win.
Summary
It might come across as a little too self-assured to kick off a brand new slot game without a single one of the bonus rounds or free spins that tend to be a more common occurrence in today’s video slots. Nor does Arcade Bomb feature Wild or Scatter symbols—those symbols that get you what are seemingly better winning combinations and/or get you one step closer to some sort of bonus that makes everything better. That, if you can believe it, is the charming thing about Arcade Bomb. It looks like a video slot, but it plays by a totally different set of rules.
