Beat The Beast: Cerberus Inferno slot review
This is one of a group of several games from the same category by Thunderkick. Here we immerse ourselves in the simplicity of the gaming experience and all the subtleties we can take part in the new slot machine.
About the slot machine
Beat the Beast: Cerberus Inferno presents a player with a challenge that is far from ordinary. In Thunderkick's latest installment in the Beat the Beast slot series, we descend into the underworld and do battle with none other than Hades. Accompanying our confrontation with the god of the dead and master of the underworld, we encounter his three-headed dog, Cerberus, and an inferno that, frankly, outdoes any other slot environment inspired by that particular place of torment.
The maximum win aligns with the theme: 6666 – a maximum win that is both creative and generous. The slot machine is structured with 5 spinning reels, 3 rows and typically 9 active paylines. But when the game's bonus round kicks off, the paylines surge to a staggering 243.
What we like a bit extra about Beat The Beast Cerberus Inferno is that you can appoint for yourself when it's time for the reels to stop. So you do not have to wait for all the reels to stop spinning individually, but can easily use the same button which set the reels in spin to stop them all.

Stakes and winnings
You can choose bet levels between 0.10 and 100.00 for every single spin, meaning that you can put it at whichever level fits your bank balance and preference.
It is also good to know that the best slot to beat is Cerberus Inferno, which has a fairly high volatility. So, it can take quite a while before a win or bonus feature shows up. But during our rookie run through Cerberus Inferno, we hit the bonus round with free spins on just our second spin.
We believe that it may be wiser to engage with a video slot of high volatility for somewhat lower stakes. But, of course, this is a matter of personal preference.
The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) is 96.15%, which is a notch lower than many other slot machines from, for example, NetEnt, but is still a very reasonable figure.
In our initial 100 attempts on the slot machine, we experienced 22 successes that caused us to win. Right at the outset, we were fortunate enough to play through the bonus stage that granted us free turns. By any estimation, however, we were spinning for a long time before we seemed to hit anything worth a moment's pause. When we did, it was something to behold. Three times, we had wins that would be properly termed "big" in the context of win size relative to bet size. All told, those three wins added up to $750. Incidentally, we also encountered the Stacked Wilds feature six times.
Functions
Beat The Beast: Cerberus Inferno is a contemporary video slot, yet not in the way it is stuffed with bonus features. What bonus features are found in Cerberus Inferno are limited to those which have shown to be the most favored by players—such as free spins and an expanded number of paylines.
Free spins
Who does not enjoy receiving several Free Spins during gameplay? This is a common and reoccurring aspect of many video slots nestled within the network. However, the same cannot be said for all forms of game development. For some developers, some studios, and some teams, the art, the craft, and the finesse that make up game design have become shrouded in mystery. Once a developer has capitalized on a concept and has made the feature successful, doing it again and again without any variation has become the safe route.
To activate free spins, players must spin three or more Cerberus Emblem symbols on the reels. This bonus symbol serves a dual purpose— it acts as both a Scatter and a Wild. It can trigger free spins. It can also substitute for other symbols to create a better winning combination. And you can win a lot of money if you get four or five Cerberus Emblems in the right place.
The bonus round initiates with 10 free spins, and as if free spins weren't sufficient, the paylines jump from 9 to 243. We were fortunate enough to enter the free spins round already on our second Test spin.
Provided you have proficient fluency, you can also reignite the same bonus round if the playing field is graced with 3 bonus symbols.
Symbols
Beat The Beast: Cerberus Inferno classifies its symbols into two distinct categories: lower paying symbols and higher paying symbols. The symbols that win you smaller amounts in the game are A, K, Q, J and the number 10. Thus, these five symbols are the game's lower paying symbols.
Naturally, the game contains a number of other high-paying symbols, which have usually been adapted with a little more detail to the theme. Among these symbols, the worthiest seems to be reflected in the three-headed dog, Cerberus. There are two symbols that represent Cerberus; one of them pays out a maximum of 150 coins, while the other—a golden statue depicting the full body of the dog—gives you 50 coins for the same winning combination. Other symbols pay out less, but they're still on theme, consisting of a helmet, a vase, and a scepter.
Stacked wild symoler
Beat The Beast: Cerberus Inferno includes not only a Scatter symbol that doubles as a joker but also a distinct Wild symbol. This symbol is easily identified as having a W in the middle, and it always hits the screen as a stacked symbol—one that takes up real estate all the way across any of the five reels.
