Commissions and advertising
Which links on Casinos-Online.pro earn a commission, how that works, and the things money is not allowed to change.
This page explains, without the usual fog, how Casinos-Online.pro is paid for, which links earn money, and what that money is not allowed to change. The short version: a casino may pay us when you join it through our link, but no casino can buy a word of what we write about it.
Where the money comes from
Every dollar Casinos-Online.pro earns is referral commission, paid either by casinos directly or by the affiliate networks acting for them. We do not charge readers, we do not sell subscriptions and we do not run a shop. There is no investor or parent business telling the desk what to cover. The publisher, Levantorre Media Limited, receives the commission and pays for the writing, the checking and the hosting out of it.
Which links are commercial
A “Visit casino” button, or a casino name you can click, normally routes you via a Casinos-Online.pro
address that starts /go/. The hop lets the casino see where you came from, and that is how a
sign-up gets attributed to us. Links to regulators, the Gambling Helpline, game studios' own pages,
payment providers and news sources are not commercial and pay nothing. Where an operator link is not
commercial, because we have no agreement with that operator, it still goes through the same kind of redirect;
the absence of a commission does not remove an operator from our pages.
How a commission is worked out
Agreements in this industry take a few common forms. Under a flat-fee deal (often called CPA) the casino pays once, after a new customer we sent registers and funds the account. Under revenue share it passes on a percentage of what it nets from that customer, month after month, for an agreed term. Hybrid deals mix both. The exact terms are commercial agreements between the publisher and each operator, they differ from brand to brand, and they change. Two points matter to you: arriving via our button costs you nothing, and the welcome offer you get is exactly what the casino's own terms state — we have not bargained a special version, better or worse, on your behalf.
What money does not buy here
- A position. The order of a list is set by the desk from the operator's terms, payment options and licence information. An operator cannot buy first place or keep a rival off a page.
- A sentence. Operators can correct facts. They cannot have an accurate statement removed, approve a page before it is published or choose the wording of a conclusion.
- Silence. Pages name the things we could not confirm and the terms we think readers should notice, whether or not that operator pays us.
- A rating. We do not publish star scores, so there is no number for anyone to buy.
Sponsored content
At present the site does not publish paid articles, advertorials or guest posts written by operators. If that ever changes, a paid page will say so at the top in words, not in a grey label at the bottom. We also decline offers to buy links, reviews or rankings; our contact page says the same, so that nobody has to ask.
What the commercial links record
Attribution relies on cookies on our own domain. From the first page you open, mz_vid
(an anonymous browser number, twelve months) and mz_src (how you arrived, thirty days) are
stored. Pressing a /go/ button brings two more, mozbiz_session and
XSRF-TOKEN, and neither outlives twenty-odd hours. Nothing in them identifies you by name, address or card. Our
cookie page and privacy policy explain how to remove
them.
A note for New Zealand readers
Before the first domestic licences arrive on 1 December 2026, any online casino a New Zealander can join holds its licence abroad, and promoting such casinos here is restricted by the 2003 Act. Operators do not place our pages; we write them, and being paid for a referral does not convert a description into advice to play. Online play is open to over-18s only.
When interests pull in different directions
A comparison site paid by the businesses it compares has an obvious conflict, and pretending otherwise would be the first untrue sentence on this page. We manage it in three ways: pages are checked by someone other than the writer, figures carry the date and source they were read from, and the publisher does not see a draft before it goes up. If you think a page has been bent by money, send us the address and the sentence; we will read it again and tell you what we decided.

What this site actually gives you
We are a comparison site, not a casino. Everything below is checked against primary sources — operator terms, the Gambling Act 2003, and Department of Internal Affairs (Te Tari Taiwhenua) publications — and dated.
- Offers with a date on them Every welcome offer carries the day we last read it in the operator’s own terms. No figure appears without that check.
- New Zealand law, in plain words What is legal, what changes on 1 December 2026, and which payment methods the licensees’ credit-card ban actually covers.
- Payment rails that work from here Read off each operator’s own cashier page rather than copied from a European site — including the methods that stopped working.
- How we are paid Commission on some links, never on our conclusions. Our method.
Who wrote this
The Casinos-Online editorial team — a New Zealand-facing desk, not a named byline, because every page here is produced and checked by more than one person. We read operator terms, the Gambling Act 2003, the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 and Department of Internal Affairs (Te Tari Taiwhenua) publications, and we date what we check. We do not claim to have deposited, played or withdrawn at the casinos we describe.
