Fishin Frenzy Megaways

Blueprint Gaming is a game provider that has wowed many with their game creations since 2001, and the slot Fishin Frenzy Megaways is no exception. It is not unusual for a really popular machine to receive a sequel of some sort. Sometimes, a series of machines is launched; other times, the esteemed game developer enters the picture and transforms the already beloved machine into a variant. This is exactly what happened with the Fishin Frenzy Megaways slot, which unsurprisingly calls upon the gameplay of the original. Though it does include several of its own unique aspects, and the gameplay here—what with those fish—does lend itself to some allusions to whatever would be a Megaways variant of fishing. Anyway, here are some details:

About the slot machine

The visuals of the game are drawn from the world of Pure Fishing, and they work in harmony with the reel symbols to create the game's backdrop. The sounds that accompany the gameplay can only be heard when the reels are in motion, and they are reminiscent of the classic one-armed bandits found in Las Vegas.

Fishin Frenzy Megaways also has autoplay, which lets you select a number of spins to be played automatically. However, you cannot choose when the reels should stop in this slot, which we otherwise think is a little extra fun feature.

Bets & winnings

Stakes in Fishin' Frenzy Megaways come down to one simple factor; the player must enter a desired bet value per spin that varies across a pretty generous range. The minimum bet per spin is at 0.10, while the maximum bet per spin is 10.00.

The theoretical payout of the game is indicated by its RTP (Return to Player), and Fishin Frenzy Megaways has an RTP of 96.10%. This figure is good to look at when picking a slot but is best combined with other information like the kind of bet you're placing, for instance, since RTP is also influenced by this. Volatility is also a good number to consider since it tells you whether a slot is going to give out its bigger wins less often or smaller wins a little more often. With Fishin Frenzy Megaways, we see a number that indicates medium-high volatility, which is right better than those slots that have a number indicating high volatility.

Our gaming experience

Like always, we have notated 100 Test spins in the slot machine to provide some glimpse into what a moment in the game can be like. Of our 100 spins, there were 20 that culminated in a win, and of those, an impressive 6 were big wins.

Unfortunately, we did not get into the test spins of Fishin Frenzy Megaways online casino games bonus round of free spins.

Functions

Today, a number of the slots created by Moderna come with bonus features that should theoretically enhance their gaming experience. However, since many of the aforementioned slot machines are set up with high volatility, players don't often get the opportunity to engage with these bonus rounds. This is not, however, the default setup for Fishin Frenzy Megaways. In this game, only free spins constitute a bonus round, and you receive an amount that is much closer to the upper limit of what's standard in this genre.

Free spins

Fishin' Frenzy Megaways includes one of the features that so many slot players love: free spins, or, as many like to call it, free spins. This feature is activated in a pretty classic way and with pretty classic symbols: Scatter symbols that trigger the bonus round.

The number of free spins activated on the playing field depends on how many Scatters appear there. If you manage to pull in enough Scatters, you can be awarded up to 50 Free Spins.

• 3 Scatters – 10 free spins
• 4 Scatters – 15 free spins
• 5 Scatters – 25 free spins
• 6 Scatters – 50 Free spins

The Scatter symbol is instantly recognizable as it stands out from all the other symbols in the game. It depicts a fishing boat on the ocean, and in large text at the top, it states its title.

Purchase function

Should you have the same bad luck as us when it comes to legitimately activating the bonus round with free spins, you can actually purchase that feature! Not all operators that have Fishin' Frenzy Megaways in their game range allow you to buy the bonus round, but we still want to show you how it works.

Your free spins hold a different value predicated on the bet amount you play with. Similarly, the bet you place to activate a round of Free Spins costs different amounts depending on the regular bet you are playing with. This cost corresponds to 100 times the total bet amount you are placing.

Symbols

Fishin' Frenzy Megaways symbols represent various objects and things associated with a fishing trip. The fisherman himself sits on top. He is the highest-value symbol of all, but he is also The Joker. And he can substitute for all the other symbols in the game to help you land the best possible winning combination.

Furthermore, the left-over symbols also denote higher and lower paying symbols. This can be seen rather readily in the seemingly nostalgic or retro design of the low paying symbols, which are no more than classic card symbols. The ones that are valued higher are the Pelican, which is also a very dangerous species, next to the fisherman, who appears to be very relaxed in his line of work. Then there is the fishing rod, stored in a protective case, that comes next in value. Following that, you have the lifebuoy, and the kind of box that just any old fishing enthusiast might have.

Summary

This is a slot machine that will likely attract players who enjoy Big Time Gaming's Megaways slots. Each spin varies, offering the potential for nice wins. Many players will like the option to buy free spins. Still, we recommend using this feature with caution, as it's a pricey one. Otherwise, there aren't a lot of extra features to distract you, which is good news if you prefer the more straightforward games.
