Freja Games Casino Review

About FrejaGames

FrejaGames is one of many online casinos operated from Malta and its owners are far from unfamiliar with what they do. FrejaCasino has received some polishing since it was launched in 2015, not least during the preparations that were spent to make them fit into the New Zealand gaming market and games with ID verification became an opportunity. But since 2018, a new online casino was launched by the same founder, and Lucky Casino from the beginning it was seen as a New Zealand casino The two gaming sites also have a former European gaming license from the MGA but now have an overseas licence, which means continued tax-free gaming for New Zealand players.

Welcome Bonuses & Promotions

• Freja Casino does not have an overseas licence and therefore there is no bonus for New Zealand casino players.
• Here you can find our best bonus offers at casinos that accept New Zealand players.

Freja Casino does not offer a cashback bonus that players can pick up when they start playing for the first time. In fact, unlike Lucky Casino, there is no bonus available to download at Freja Casino. This may be due to a couple of things, but the most obvious reason is that they have chosen to adapt to the Department of Internal Affairs's rules to the letter.

For a number of players, this can be a downside, but playing at a casino without a bonus can often be to your advantage. It is, quite simply, a fact that playing for real money at a casino without a bonus affects the payout of your winnings. You can do without the bonus if it threatens to turn into the kind of noose I just described. You can find games that pay well enough to give you the kind of advantage you want.

Wagering requirements

One more thing that is to the advantage of one when playing at an online casino without a bonus is that there are no longer any wagering requirements to fulfill in order to get one's hands on the money. It can very often be annoying and frustrating to have to meet an outrageous requirement at an online casino in order to win. And we at 17 Top Online Casinos do not want you to have to work so hard to get something that is rightfully yours.

Game selection

FrejaCasino is one of the online casinos that has a really fat game range. Still, their game titles don't come from more than a handful of different game providers. The trick with this is to pick out the top developers of casino games online and then get as many of their game titles as possible. Manufacturers such as MicrogamingNetent and Evolution Gaming have a lot to offer and also of high quality and standard.

A specific tab for progressive jackpot slots is what we lack. So if you want different jackpot games, it may be a good idea to choose another online casino because jackpot games are not Freja Casino's focus.

The offer is that much more satisfying if you have an interest in the online casino games and all the varied table games that are usually on offer. Evolution Gaming is tasked with providing the live dealer experience for games like Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat, and at FrejaCasino you can find that plus over 50 different game titles to experience live.

If you're interested in Bingo or if you want to give it a chance, FrejaCasino offers excellent opportunities in that area, too. You can play together with other players at the casino, and with each Bingo ticket, you can make bets just like in a normal, honest Bingo game.

Freja Casino has other game categories, including new games and “most popular” (where the games that are most frequently played are collected). However, there's no category for your own favorites, so when you can't remember a specific title during your next session, you'll have to look it up beforehand.

Support

The majority of new online casinos provide support through live chat and email. However, it is quite rare that there is no live chat available. If you wish to contact support at Freja Games, it is best to do so during their very limited hours year-round or through email.

You can contact customer service at FrejaGames using a local telephone number (0107502466) and communicate directly with the casino agents. They are available on public holidays from 09:00 – 13:00. The exact time of day that this service operates is unclear.

For a not-so-urgent issue, or when you prefer to receive written feedback, the email route is the way to go. You fire off a message to its published email address detailing your situation, and then you can sit back and wait a few hours for a reply to come rolling in.

Deposits & Withdrawals

At FrejaCasino, like many casinos that accept New Zealand players, you can play without registering for a game account. Unlike many other gaming sites, FrejaGames has mobile bank payment as a standard payment method. Mobile bank payment usually works in combination with your personal ID verification, which means that using it should ensure both smooth payments and additional security. Withdrawals shouldn't take much longer than 24 hours to process.

Mobile bank payment is a payment service that sends a player an invoice afterwards. This is not our most recommended method because it is easy to go over your gaming limits with it. The most common payment method appending to ID verification at most casinos in New Zealand is otherwise instant bank transfer

The casino takes its fees from neither deposits nor withdrawals. Hence, when you make a deposit or a withdrawal, no fees are deducted by the casino from the amount you are depositing or withdrawing. The only possible exception to this would be if your bank charges extra for international transactions. On that note, FrejaGames may charge for any winnings exceeding an amount set by the casino—thus your winnings might be subject to federal taxes, and any checks that you receive from the casino should be reported on your income tax returns.

Summary

After examining everything on offer at Freja Casino, we can conclude that it is a largely complete online casino for most players. With more than 500 game titles, it is virtually impossible not to find something that suits your fancy. There is certainly a good variety among the different games. They could use more jackpot games, and the absence of the classic live chat option to reach customer service does put a small dent in our overall opinion. Still, if you are a player at Freja Casino, we do not see it as being at a disadvantage, and we can safely recommend it as a place to play. The customer service, if you do need it, should be reached through email. The Freja Casino website is also SSL-encrypted, which means that it is as safe as any online casino can be.
