Updated Written and checked by the Casinos-Online editorial team
In the Slot Machine House of Fun from the developer Betsoft, there is no ordinary “funny house” we come to – rather the opposite! In this horror-themed video slot, it's your job to help a young couple escape from a mansion populated by all sorts of possible and Impossible Creatures. The graphics and sound are top notch, and there are plenty of bonus features. Play for FREE here on the site, and use our bonus link if you want to play for real!

House of fun slot machine

Are you ready for an adventure in the characters of horror? The House of fun slot from Betsoft starts with a nicely animated intro that immediately sets the mood. A young couple is driving a car when the engine suddenly stops. Nearby is a mysterious and rugged mansion, where the couple go for help. What they don't know is that this mansion is inhabited by unusual individuals and creatures to say the least. The graphics, sound and animations of this video slot are really nice, and you will immediately get carried away!

If you take a closer look at how the slot machine itself is structured, you can quickly see that House of Pain consists of five reels and three rows. There are 30 bet lines to play on, and you choose how many of these you want to use. In addition, you can of course change both the coin value and the number of coins wagered per Payline. The bet per spin can be anywhere between 0.02 and 75 coins.

Symbols and functions

The game really takes full advantage of the horror theme, and all symbols can offer a chilling animation when winning. The game's scatter symbol is characterized by a box with question marks on it. If you manage to get 3 or more of these symbols, the “old man in the box” jumps out, and even if he is not a pretty sight, he can offer a round of lovely free spins where you can let the reels spin at the House's expense. During free spins, the middle wheel turns into a single big wild, giving you really good chances of winning.

House of Pain can also offer two different integrated bonus games, one slightly smaller and one more comprehensive. The First, “Click me Bonus”, you activate by getting 3 or more symbols with a man with long narrow face and equal suit. This bonus game takes place directly on the reels, and it's your job to find the symbols that hide a win. If you fail, you will be sent back to the normal game mode.

Finally, we have the bonus Game “Escape”. Here you should help the young couple to find the way out of this anything but “capricious” House. You activate the bonus game by getting 3 or more doorknob symbols along an active Payline. Then choose a door and hope it leads to freedom. If you succeed, you can be rewarded with a nice win. But don't worry if you don't succeed – then just keep playing until you get the chance again.

Summary

House of Pain is a graphically advanced video slot that can offer several entertaining bonus features and a lot of gaming fun. It should be said that the winnings are relatively modest – but in return, the chances of winning seem good quite often. If you are looking for big jackpots, there are better options, but for the chance of “normal” wins and lots of excitement, House of Fun is a really good option
