King Kong Fury

About King Kong Fury slot

King Kong Fury slot is perhaps the graphically most advanced slot that NextGen Gaming ever released it. It appeared in the early summer of 2018 and it can only be said that it is a milestone for NextGen Gaming. The game offers a cool gaming feeling and it feels like it can hide a big win behind every spin. Part of this is because the game has two very tasty special features that can kick off randomly in each spin.

Do you dare to unleash the wrath of the giant gorilla Kong? How will Kong fare in the battles against ancient dinosaurs and other nasty beasts? Is Kong going to fall in love with beautiful Ann Darrow? Will you win a pretty penny on the game? The questions are many, but if you try King Kong Fury you can get the answers! By the way, did you know that you can try hundreds of video slots for free here on our site?

Stakes and winnings

A game that is about the world's largest gorilla should of course be of the larger kind! King Kong Fury has five reels that are all four positions high and over the screen run 50 fixed paylines. However, when you select bet, you play for 0.5 coins per line. This means that you can bet, for example, an amount set by the casino per spin. The minimum bet is just an amount set by the casino while the maximum bet is highroller-friendly an amount set by the casino. The nice thing is that with the help of quick buttons you can smoothly step up and down in terms of the size of the bets.

Many slots from NextGen Gaming unfortunately have a somewhat meager RTP (refund). However, there are also a number of exceptions. A classic in this context is Starmania, another is precisely King Kong Fury. Over time, you will get back 96.70% of your bets in winnings. The volatility / risk is a bit above average, but any regular high-risk slot is King Kong Fury not.

What is the biggest win that can be played at home? Well, with larger portions of flax, you can Thunder home 500 times the stake. For example, if you play for an amount set by the casino per spin, you can win an amount set by the casino on a board.

Symbols

Different Kong themed slots have different sets of symbols. The reason is that there are so many different stories to start from. In King Kong Fury, NextGen Gaming has started from the story that focuses on Kong's battle against the monsters on Skull Island. Thus, the storyline is similar to the one presented in the latest (2017) Hollywood film Kong: Skull Island Meanwhile, the woman (Ann Darrow), whom Kong obviously becomes fond of, is a bit of a pastiche on the women of the older Hollywood movies.

There are two character-based special symbols on the slot reels of King Kong Fury. One is a wild (the giant ape, Kong himself) while the other is a bonus icon (Kong's romantic interest). The other standard symbols are eleven in number. Five of them portray various dinosaurs alongside other ferocious beasts, including T-Rex. The other six are poker card-rank symbols. T-Rex is the high-paying dinosaur symbol you can keep an additional eye on. It is a massive win if you are in the mood.

Functions

The very theme “angry gorilla in the jungle of a forgotten island” automatically provides inspiration for a variety of bonus features. NextGen Gaming Game Developers have provided the game with a large amount of exciting specials.

Wilds

We have to start by mentioning the wild symbols. They can appear in various special features and land on the reels as regular symbols. It's a really freaked-out Kong that acts like the wild. The wild symbols can come in stacks and they are located on reels 2-4.

Lightning wheel

At any time while playing (just after pressing the button), a lightning wheel show up. In short, the feature means that you will get larger amounts of high win symbols on the screen. It is actually difficult to explain the function but we can guarantee that it gives great effect when activated.

King is summoned

King Kong Fury also offers another random feature, namely King is summoned This function can be activated after the wheels have stopped. What happens is that wild symbols are added to the three reels in the middle. At maximum power, you get three full wild reels, that is, twelve wilds.

King of Skull Island Free Spins

Ann Darrow has been honored to serve as the scatter symbol in King Kong Fury. She can only appear on reels 1 and 5. When she does, she first of all gives a coin profit. Then she also activates the King of Skull Island freespins bonus.

Before you can start playing your spins, you should click on how many they will be. You do that on two Statue wheels. You can play up to 100 free spins!

Raging Re-spins

In the free spins round, you actually have the chance to get even more spins and also even greater chances of winning. If you get a full stack of wilds on one reel (four positions), you win a respin played with sticky wilds. This process can be repeated several times and you will get the maximum effect with complete Wilds on reels 2-4.

Summary

There is a lot in King Kong Fury to be impressed with. The game is amazingly good both in terms of the more static graphics and animations. The background music and sound effects are just right “Hollywood class” and the game is also packed with explosive features. We think NextGen Gaming has really captured the theme of the story of Kong and we can recommend this title to anyone who likes adventure themed slots. Of course, the fact that the refund is at a record high for a slot from NextGen does not hurt either!
