Magic Portals

About the slot machine Magic Portals

It's time for an adventure filled with magic and mystery! Magic Portals is the new slot machine from New Zealand developer NetEnt, and as usual they deliver a really well-crafted slot with interesting and entertaining features and the chance of big wins. The theme briefly etches around magic portals, which can turn every spin into a real magic trick.

The slot machine consists of the now customary five reels and three rows. As in many other new slot machines, it is not possible to choose how many bet lines you want to play with, but the number is determined to 25. This is for better or for worse, but of course it is still possible to adjust the effort anyway. There are 10 different bet levels, and the coin value can be set to anything within the range the casino sets. All in all, this gives you the opportunity to bet within the range the casino sets per spin – a clearly approved range!

Symbols and functions

As with so many other slots from Netent, Magic Portals stands out a bit from the crowd with its features. Actually there are only two special features, but they are in return innovative and exciting.

These features consist of free spins and wild transformations, both of which etch around the “magic portals” that have given the game its name. There are “magic Portals” on the middle row of reels 1 and 5, and it is these that are the key to the big wins. We'll start by looking at how to get free spins.

To get your free spins, you need to get a free spin symbol in both portals. When this happens, you will be awarded 10 of the always equally desirable free spins. It is possible to trigger additional free spins during ongoing Free Spins, which is always a nice bonus.

The most distinctive feature of Magic Portals, however, is perhaps the “wild transformations”, which also de revolves around the two portals. When you get two identical symbols – any in addition to the free spin symbols-this feature is triggered. Then all the same symbols on the entire machine turn into wild symbols. We have reviewed the game and can attest that it is really great when large parts of the screen turn into wilds and the winnings fall in.

Summary

Magic Portals is basically a fairly simple slot machine, which, however, keeps the interest up thanks to the exciting portal feature. This feature gives the game the little extra it needs to stand out from the crowd, and with the chance of winning up to the casino's cap, this is a clearly stable and fun slot that is guaranteed to find a large audience.
