Mega glam Life

Mega Glam Life from Betsoft is all about the icier, more luxurious side of life. If you have played the Mega Fortune jackpot machine, you will probably recognize yourself here. In fact, the similarities are so many that we wonder if Betsoft has not skimped a bit on the now legendary slot from NetEnt. Well-imitation is the greatest of compliments, as someone has said, and while Mega Glam Life may lack originality, there are some other things to take into consideration. Join us and we will take a ride on the luxury yacht and see what profits we can dig up.

Arrangements and interventions

On the technical side, we have a fairly typical setup for a modern video slot. We are talking about the now customary five wheels and three rows. There are 20 paylines across the reels, and you can choose how many of these you want to use when playing. More lines means a greater chance of winning – but of course also higher stakes.

Of course, there are other ways to adjust your bet in Mega Glam Life. You do this by choosing the coin value and how many coins you want to play on per active Payline. By turning on these settings, you can choose bets the minimum the casino sets and all the way up to the casino's cap – a pretty respectable range!

Wins

On the game's 20 paylines, it is important to line up combinations of symbols that run from the left reel to the right. No oddities here, thus. To win, you need to line up at least 3 symbols along an active Payline.

Of the game's 13 symbols, 10 are regular ones, that is, symbols that can bring profit but have no other special properties. Four of these symbols represent items such as a yacht, a car and a watch. Five symbols are made up of Card values (A, K, Q, J, 10). The symbols that represent objects have higher value, and most valuable is the yacht. This can give up to 1500 times the line bet if you line up five pieces along an active Payline.

However, it is of course the progressive jackpots that can bring the biggest wins. These jackpots grow by you and other players contributing a small percentage per bet, and that way they can grow really big. Mega Glam Life, unlike, for example, Mega Fortune, has a local progressive jackpot, which means that the winnings are slightly smaller as a rule. However, you can absolutely become a millionaire if you win, so there are hardly any complaints.

Symbols and functions

Three progressive jackpots
The main attraction of this slot is undoubtedly the progressive jackpots, which go by the terms Big, Huge and Mega. Of these, it is of course mega that delivers the biggest winnings and can bring you several million in profit, depending on the occasion. “Huge”usually counts in hundreds of thousands of dollar, while “large” usually gives a few thousand in dividends.

To win any of the jackpots, you should first activate the bonus game, which we'll get to next:

Bonus games-Money wheel
A sign that Betsoft has been thoroughly inspired by NetEnt's Mega Fortune slot is that the bonus game is almost identical. When you get three bonus symbols on the three middle reels, you activate the bonus mode, where you then spin a wheel of Fortune. In this wheel, you can win lots of different cash prizes, including the three different jackpots. You spin for several rounds, and if you manage to make it all the way to the center of the wheel, you win the Mega Jackpot. A proven concept, but a bit sad that Betsoft did not try to be more original.

Scatters and free spins
If you get 3 or more scatter symbols in the form of a sunset anywhere on the reels, you have triggered the free spin feature. 3 scatters give 8 free spins, 4 scatters give 12 free spins and 5 scatters give 16 free spins. During these free rounds, all wins are multiplied by 3, except for the jackpots. It is also possible to reactivate free spins during free mode.

Wilds and respins
The Wild symbol is represented by an airplane, and these symbols can appear anywhere on the reels during the base game as well as free spins. Wilds substitute for all other symbols, with the exception of bonus and scatter symbols. If you get 3 or more wilds on the screen at the same time, a re-spin is also triggered. During this, the wild symbols remain on the screen while all other symbols are replaced, which means really good chances of winning.

Graphics and sound

As a rule, Betsoft produces games with technically competent 3D graphics, which in practice, however, can become a little plotty and visually messy. We've done a fairly good job of keeping the visual layout a little clearer. It may not be strikingly stylish or original in its artwork, but also not bad in any way. In the event of wins, the symbols are animated in a pleasing way, making the whole spin a little more vivid experience.

The soundscape is quite discreet, with elevator music simmering in the background. It fits quite well, as it never becomes intrusive or annoying. When you win something or activate a special feature, this is accompanied by ringing sound effects that feel quite typical for slot machines. Absolutely okay soundscape overall, which fits well with this type of slot machine.

Summary

Mega Glam Life is therefore Betsoft's answer to Mega Fortune, which is perhaps one of the most appreciated Jackpot Slots of all time. How do you succeed in the competition? Yeah, totally okay! It is a well-made gaming experience with clearly approved graphics and sound, and three highly respectable jackpots. As the jackpots are local rather than global, we will not see the same breathtaking jackpots as in Mega Fortune, but expect that Mega Glam Life will distribute many million wins in the future. If you like luxury and glamor, there is no reason not to give Mega Glam life a few spins!
