Stormcraft Slots & Game Developers

About Stormcraft Studios

Stormcraft Studios was founded in late 2017. However, if we look at the experience that can be found in the developer's business, the game developer is certainly not new.

We are not sure exactly how many years of experience in creating slots the studio can boast of, but it is guaranteed to be an almost three-digit number of years. It is because several of the people who have started Stormcraft Studios have been involved in the development of Mega Moolah and Immortal Romance to name just two of the best casino games from Microgaming which is available at all online casinos.

Mobile games with good graphics

A major focus of the game developer is to ensure that the games work optimally on mobile devices. For games in mobile casino is not only about them looking good in landscape mode, but also in portrait mode. There is a challenge in constructing mobile slots for portrait mode because slots of claim are wider than they are tall. It's a challenge that Stormcraft Studios has taken on. In just Fortunium, a first attempt has been made to solve the challenge in the best way, and if you open the game in portrait mode, you will see that the result is really neat.

Microgaming casino as a distributor

Stormcraft Studios is number two in the order of the game giant Microgaming's portfolio of partners. The idea is that Stormcraft will continuously deliver exclusive premium slots such as Microgaming can deploy on its own platform.

Games from Stormcraft

As we write this, it is June 2018 and Fortunium has just gone live at all Microgaming casinos. Fortunium is a slot with an epic steampunk theme. The variance / risk is relatively high and the game engine is completely unique. However, some of the features can be said to be borrowed from other popular titles. There are elements from as well Steam Tower as a Motörhead online Slot (both from NetEnt) in Fortunium.

Steampunk is an artistic style that combines the 19th century with a futuristic image. In short, it can be said that the style combines the “steam engine era” with futuristic elements such as skyscrapers, flying cars and space travel. It is a popular genre in both books, movies and music.

Fortunium

Fortunium is the name of a fictional city to which you get to control the cow when you open the game of the same name. The two founders of the city, Maximilian and Victoria, welcome you to explore all the secrets of the city and challenge you to find its treasures.

In Fortunium slot you get to play with plenty of wilds on the 5 x 5 symbols big reel stand. You can also take part in a function with secret symbols Periodically, bars with symbols covered by question marks appear. When the wheels have stopped spinning, you will see what is hidden behind them. All secret symbols always show the same paying icon. Hopefully the stacks will give you wins of the bigger kind! Fortunium also offers a freespins a round in which the chances of winning increase significantly.

Platforms and partners

Stormcraft's games, including the first title Stormcraft, are distributed exclusively on Microgaming's platform. For the online casinos that run on software from Microgaming, the games are distributed under the distributor's name. However, on sites that have games from Quickfire, Stormcraft's peculiar logo is featured on a corner. It is not possible to find the game on sites that have no connection to Microgaming. Both old classic sites and new casinos you can have the game in your hands.

There are several reasons why this cooperation has come about. One is that the team behind the new game developer actually has a background from Microgaming. Another is that today it is quite tough for a smaller game developer to reach out if you do not manage to get an agreement with a larger distributor. For Microgaming, the collaboration is excellent because they bring new, innovative games to their platform, this at a low cost.

In this context, we can mention something about the studio that was the first to sign such a cooperation agreement with Microgaming. It's about Triple Edge Studios It was in the summer of 2017 that the first slot machine from Triple Edge appeared. The title was Oink Country Love. Other games (correct until June 2018) are playboy Gold, Halloween, Diamond Empire and 108 Heroes Multiplier Fortunes.

What does the future hold for Stormcraft Studios?

That Stormcraft Studios will continue to launch high-quality slots at New Zealand casinos is clear. However, we do not know how many games will be released per quarter or year. It is also unclear how they will Program their creations. Will all titles have a relatively high risk? Will developers continue to borrow features from other providers? Can we expect more innovative game screens such as the one in Fortunium in all slots in the future?

According to press releases that have been sent out in connection with the launch of the first slot, the game studio will focus on so-called epic themes. It is a bit difficult to describe in detail what it is about, but we can say that epic themes are the exact opposite of “cute” themes with fruits and the like. Perhaps the developers will explore history, science fiction and / or God stories in the upcoming releases of new slot machines at casino

Summary

It's not always that the first release from a new game developer convinces. There are countless examples of Game Studios whose maiden voyage within the world of slots has become fiasco. Stormcraft's first release is something completely different. Fortunium is a premium slot that convinces in all aspects, and there is no indication that one will drop the quality requirements in the future. A guarantee for this is that Microgaming keeps a close eye on what the game developer is taking care of.
