About Wins of Fortune slot

A sleepy valley somewhere in Asia is the scene of Wins of Fortune from Quickspin Here we meet various figures and get to see a masterful graphics and a somewhat mysterious soundscape. There's clearly focus on the slightly mystically Asian, but the game doesn't have a more specific theme. It draws inspiration from NetEnts, among others Lights and Quickspin's own Sakura Fortune, but the game still stands on its own two feet.

At first glance, the game may look clearly strange. Against the deliciously designed background, five wheels stand out. The first two are three positions high. Reels 3-4 in the order are instead four positions high and the last reel is five positions high. Such a wheel alignment is usually referred to as asymmetric and we recognize the concept from, among other things Motörhead and Dazzle me.

With the asymmetrical wheel position you get a relatively large number of winning ways to hit already in the first spin. If you manage to activate respins, you can then gradually get more and more ways to win.

Stakes and winnings

In Wins of Fortune, you start playing with 76 ways to win. This does not mean that you should bet 76 coins or the like. Quickspin has not departed from its usual melody in this game by offering us a number of fixed bets. Via arrow buttons or via a screen you click up, you choose a bet of between within the range the casino sets. If you want to speed up the game, you can choose Quick Spin. Quickspin's advanced autospin feature is also included.

If we calculate what the best paying icon can give and multiply it by the number of possible ways to win, we get the result that Wins of Fortune can pay out close to 650 times the bet at the most. Just note that this only applies to spins when the entire 5 x 5 reel position is open and then only during the last possible re-spin. Since there are successive gains to get that far, the maximum gain in total becomes infinitely greater.

The payback in Wins of Fortune is over time 96.54%, which is a figure that is just above average. The volatility is instead well above average and the game can be both very generous and very stingy.

Symbols

It's a strange collection of characters Quickspin has added to the gallery of symbols. The four character symbols, which are also the game's high-win symbols, depict a red-haired igare, a kind of priest, a pig with clothes and a Fox at its peak, as well as what we assume to be a barbarian of some kind. The low win symbols instead represent gems of different colors.

It is perhaps a bit wrong to divide the icons into high win and low win symbols. The symbol that pays the best does not give more than 2.5 times the bet for five consecutive. The fact that the payouts are so small depends on the progression with respins (see below).

Functions

There is only one special symbol on the reels in Wins of Fortune. It's about a wild that can appear on all reels. However, the lack of scatters, for example, does not mean that the game does not offer action of a large scale. Read more about the specialties of Wins of Fortune below.

Respins

Regardless of the size of your first win in the base game, you activate the game's re-spin feature. With each new win or complementary win, the wheel position grows so that you get more ways to win. In addition, you do not need to “start from scratch” in each new re-spin. Instead, the winning symbols move one wheel to the left. For example, if you get a winning hit with five symbols of the same kind on a winning path, you are guaranteed at least three wins with this concept.

In the base game, you have 76 ways to win on adjacent reels. With a first win, the winning ways will instead be 90. For respin number two in the order, the first two reels are four positions high while the others are five positions high. This construction gives you 154 ways to win. With another full-sized wheel in the third re-spin, you can win up to 164 ways to win. In any additional rounds (including Super Respin), you have 259 ways to win.

Super Respin

If you manage to spin four respins wins, and thus make the entire 5 x 5 position reel position open completely, you will get an unlimited number of respins in the Super Respins feature. All winning symbols become “sticky” and it is only to be hoped that they will be completed slowly but surely.

Buy Super Respin with achievements

Wins of Fortune is one of the slots from Quickspin that supports the unique concept of achievements. As you complete various challenges in the game, you win chips, which you then use as currency to buy bonuses. In the “shop” that you get access to if you click on the coin symbol in the upper left corner, you can, among other things, buy yourself direct access to the final round.

Summary

Wins of Fortune is a slot that has an almost complete focus on only one feature. However, this feature is quite extensive (and it can be extremely lucrative), so the game is guaranteed to offer great entertainment even if it lacks, for example, a traditional free spins bonus. That said, We think that many people who try out Wins of Fortune may find it a shame that there are no more special features in the game.

Our overall rating for Quickspins Wins of Fortune is well approved. There is nothing to complain about in terms of graphics, sound or game mechanics. Take the game for some free trial spins to see if it might be for you.
