About the Goldilocks slot machine

Too hot? Too cold? Just right? The tale of Goldilocks, no one has missed. A quick recap: a slightly whiny blonde wench enters a house and goes to snack on the porridge bowls that stand in front, tests the beds and has other bad things to do. In the end, she falls asleep in one of the beds, is then awakened by a bear and then runs home to mom. One may ask what the moral standard really should be, but now Quickspin has launched a slot machine on this particular theme.

Just like every other game Quickspin has released, this is a really neat and well-made story. Possibly one can question why a slot machine has a “children's theme”, but it may fall nostalgically laid players on the lip.

Stakes, set-ups and winnings

Goldilocks consists of 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 bet lines. If you want to play on fewer bet lines than that, it's fine. Of course, you can also choose one bet per Payline. The minimum bet is a paltry an amount set by the casino, while the maximum bet is an amount set by the casino per spin. In other words, it should not be a problem to find a level of effort you feel comfortable with, no matter what budget you are on.

To win, you must line up the same symbols from left and right along an active Payline. Of course, you can win on several lines at the same time. Among the game's regular symbols, it is daddy bear that brings the biggest win: 250 times the bet, or up to the casino's cap per Payline.

Symbols and functions

Wild symbols
The game has two different wild symbols: regular wilds and multiplier wilds. The regular wild symbols work just as we are used to, replacing other symbols to give you more and more lucrative symbol combinations. These wilds can also bring winnings on their own: up to the casino's cap!

Multiplier wilds work in much the same way. The difference is that combinations containing these give up to 4 times the win. One wild gives x2, two wilds give x3 and three wilds give X4. However, these cannot bring profits on their own.

Scatters and free spins
The Scatter symbol is represented by the gold cap itself. 3 scatters anywhere gives 10 free spins. It is possible to activate more free rounds during ongoing free spins using the “Bears become Wild feature”.

Bears get Wild-feature
This feature is activated during free spins. When you collect gold cap symbols during free spins, you can turn regular bear symbols into wilds.

Summary

Goldilocks is another one of Quickspin's fairytale-themed slots. It is a solid and well-made slot machine with well-thought-out graphics and a chance for really big wins. The game contains plenty of special symbols and features, and will appeal to players who like classic fairy tales.
