About Sunny Scoops

Craving sun, summer and ice cream? No matter what time of year you can get a good dose of sunshine in the Sunny Scoops slot from New Zealand developer Thunderkick. This is the slot machine where the traditional symbols have been allowed to leave room for ice cream balls in all the flavors. With simple but colorful graphics and almost rude relaxing music, Sunny Scoops is a great choice when you want to play something simple but gnawing delicious.

Although Sunny Scoops doesn Moderna look like a slot machine, it actually has three reels and three rows – something we rarely see among modern slots, which usually have five reels. There are 14 paylines, with most of them running horizontally as usual. But there are actually also three vertical paylines – something we've probably never seen before. The bet adjusts as usual in Thunderkick games by clicking on “Bet” and choosing how much you want to put per spin. Within the range the casino sets a spin goes on. In the main game, the maximum possible win is an amount set by the casino, but in the bonus game it can be more than that.

Symbols and functions

The bonus wheel

If you get three identical glass balls / symbols along a vertical Payline, you activate the bonus wheel. In this bonus wheel, you can either get a multiplier of between 2 and 7 times your win, or trigger the bonus round. This is where the game really gets fun, and we recommend that you play at least once until you reach the bonus round!

The bonus round

Before the bonus round kicks off, Sunny Scoops can seem a bit simple. However, we promise it's worth the wait. The bonus round consists of a number of Free Spins, where the ice cream balls are superimposed on each other, forming huge ice creams. The more ice cream balls you manage to stack on top of each other, the bigger your winnings will be. If you win during a round, you get new ice cream balls – but if you lose, someone eats the ice cream balls for you so that you fall down to a lower multiplier. There is no upper limit to the size of the multiplier you can get – the only thing preventing you from an “infinite” win is that your free spins will sooner or later run out.

Summary

Sunny Scoops is a nice and sunny slot machine that may not suit everyone. It may seem a bit simple at first, but as soon as you reach the bonus game, we dare to promise that you are stuck. An excellent slot machine when you are looking for something really light-hearted and uplifting. Extra applause for the fact that Thunderkick once again delivers a highly original gaming experience.
